Who are we?

We are Andrew McCullough
& Gina McCullough!
No, Knotty is not our last name.

We’re a husband and wife team, high school sweet hearts and parents to a really cool kiddo. We each run our own separate businesses, Andrew’s a Home Remodeling business Reclaimed Remodeling, and Gina’s a graphic design business.

We started Mr. & Mrs. Knotty, after numerous friends and family asked us to create signs for them. Seeing us both as crafty in our own lines of work, they all saw the potential we were too blind to see. Andrew had taken down an old horse barn in 2016 and kept all the wood because we had really loved the character in it. Once people started asking us to create things for them with the wood, it finally hit us — why aren’t we doing this as a business? Why aren’t we working together to create amazingly unique pieces for the public?

Then, came the thought of naming our business and for those who do not know us, we are not your average couple, or so we feel. We can get inappropriate fast, and innuendos are our favorite form of love language (sorry mom!) so, what better than be punny, and create a name that gets people asking questions right away. It gets noticed, Mr. & Mrs. Knotty! Are we knotty? Most certainly. Do you need to be knotty to purchase our items? No, but it helps!
